Grassroots Programme
The Co-operative Banking Group has been investing in football for almost 40 years, supporting the game at all levels including grassroots. We believe introducing children to sport at a young age and keeping them involved is vitally important to their development; it gives them the opportunity to get regular exercise, learn about teamwork and develop social and sporting skills, all whilst having a really great time!
Alongside our sponsorships at Stoke City, Ipswich Town and Port Vale, we have a programme of grassroots initiatives throughout the UK, including football coaching and the provision of kits and equipment to junior teams. To date we have provided football kits to over 3,800 youth football teams and coaching for over 16,000 children!
